RFID registration belongs in the container pickup plan

A released container still needs an eligible truck and current access records. NWSA’s RFID advisory is a reminder to check the equipment and company registration.

Registration is a separate pickup dependency

NWSA’s October 6 RFID notice describes registration issues that can cause terminal turnaways. Current eModal information and active trucking-company registration matter; older tags may also need replacement.

Keep the access checks distinct

Container release, terminal appointment, driver credential, truck/RFID compliance and equipment interchange are separate checks. A valid release does not establish every other requirement.

For customers, the useful action is to identify the exact terminal, equipment, timing and current instructions early. Dispatch reviews the assignment; a general website credential badge cannot confirm a specific gate transaction.
