Container quote information

Information needed for a Seattle/Tacoma drayage quote

A complete request identifies where the container is, when it can move, where it must go, what equipment is required, and how the container or chassis will be returned.

Container and facility information

Use the current booking, delivery order, rail release, or customer instructions rather than an older worksheet.

Shipment identity

Provide the container or unit number, booking or delivery order, steamship line or rail provider, import or export status, and loaded or empty status.

Pickup timing

Identify the terminal or rail ramp, release status, available date, LFD or export cutoff, pickup appointment, and any gate restriction.

Weight and equipment

Include container size, gross weight, chassis source, provider reference, and any reefer, genset, tri-axle, open-top, flat-rack, or 53-foot Power Only Support requirement.

Delivery and closeout information

  • Exact delivery address, receiver hours, appointment, site contact, and access notes.
  • Live-unload, drop, customer-loaded, or other confirmed delivery method.
  • Expected time on site and the contact responsible for empty-ready or loaded-ready notice.
  • Empty return, loaded export return, chassis return, yard need, and final reference.

Timing that needs a phone call

Call dispatch when LFD, export cutoff, pickup appointment, receiver window, or empty return is already close. Current facility access and equipment availability still need confirmation.

Dispatch hours are Monday-Friday, 5 AM-8 PM.
