When Tacoma staging may help
A pre-pull can move a container out of the terminal or rail ramp before the receiver is ready. Yard time may also help with an export loading window, a changed appointment, an empty-return issue, or a delivery scheduled for a later day.
Yard space is confirmed for the specific container and duration. A quote should include the loaded status, commodity, chassis plan, expected arrival, expected delivery, and return instructions.
Sumner third-party pallet support
Sumner support is limited to palletized loading, unloading, and short-term storage through a reviewed third-party vendor and only by confirmed scope.
Send the freight type, pallet count, dimensions, weight, labor or equipment needed, storage duration, appointment, and outbound plan.
Information for a storage request
- Pickup facility, container number, loaded or empty status, commodity, size, and weight.
- Chassis source, arrival timing, expected storage duration, and yard-release contact.
- Final delivery address, receiver appointment, access, and unload method.
- Empty return, loaded export return, chassis return, and closeout instructions.
Standard service limits
SP Logistics does not handle hazardous materials. Ongoing warehousing, inventory management, pick-and-pack, full 3PL fulfillment, customs, and ocean booking are outside standard services. One-time partner-coordinated handling remains subject to the reviewed boundary below.
