SP Logistics can stage loaded and empty containers at its Tacoma yard when terminal or rail timing does not line up with receiver delivery. Capacity, cargo, chassis, duration, and the outbound plan are confirmed for each request.

Loaded imports, loaded exports, and empty equipment are reviewed by cargo type, weight, chassis, timing, and space.
Delivery timing gaps
Staging can bridge receiver appointments, customer loading windows, empty returns, and other closeout timing.
Information for a yard request
- Pickup facility, container number, release, loaded status, size, and weight.
- Commodity, chassis source, expected yard arrival, and planned duration.
- Final delivery address, appointment, site contact, access, and unload method.
- Empty return or loaded return, chassis return, and closeout instructions.
Cargo and capacity
Space is confirmed only after the current yard schedule and container details are reviewed. Hazardous materials are not accepted. Sumner palletized support is a separate confirmed-scope service.
