The container moves from the Seattle or Tacoma terminal or rail ramp to the Kent receiver and then follows the confirmed empty or equipment return.
Kent-area container delivery
Kent receiver delivery with Tacoma yard timing when needed
SP Logistics does not operate a yard in Kent. Kent-area container deliveries may use the Tacoma yard when a terminal pickup and receiver appointment do not line up, subject to yard capacity, cargo, chassis, duration, and final delivery.
Three different operating needs
The delivery plan should identify whether the request is direct Kent delivery, Tacoma container staging, or limited Sumner palletized work.
Tacoma yard before delivery
A pre-pull and staging step may bridge LFD pressure or a later Kent appointment when Tacoma yard space and the outbound schedule fit.
Sumner palletized support
The partner warehouse can review palletized loading, unloading, or storage by confirmed scope. Reefer plug-in may be available by arrangement.
Kent receiver details
Send the exact address, receiving hours, appointment, site contact, dock or ground-level access, live-unload or drop instructions, expected service time, and empty-ready process.
The Tacoma yard is fenced, camera-monitored, and monitored 24/7. It is approximately 0.8 acres with room for about 40 containers.
